    10. Bradley (3rd fight)

1st Barrera would probably top the list for me. The 2nd Marquez fight could have really gone either way...he beat Barrera convincingly.

Fair point man, I rate Marquez really highly though, I’d possibly consider him the 3rd or 4th best fighter of this past generation behind Floyd and Pac and maybe Ward.

If you were talking best performances I’d agree with you, Barrera was more impressive as he essentially dominated that fight whilst the Marquez fight was very close, perhaps even controversial.

Yea, it’s really too bad we didn’t get to see Marquez vs Barrera/morales in their primes. That was a great era for 126-130.

Probably my favourite era that I’ve actually lived through.

I recently made a thread saying I think that the Pac/JMM/Barrera/Morales era is the closest thing to the four kings era. I’m not comparing the quality of the fighters, but comparing the number of quality fights they had against one another spanning across several years and multiple weight classes.

I really wish Marquez and Morales would’ve fought. That would’ve been such an interesting style matchup IMO.

Thurman win is a top 5 win due to circumstances and history of aging vets with the miles Pac has against young prime undefeated champs isn’t a good one!

It was a great win and the performance was absolutely amazing!

Yea...it’s not a bad comparison really. I just watched Barrera vs morales 1 again tonight. It might be my favourite fight all time...certainly one of the very best I’ve ever seen.
