How long does it take to test a B sample?

Dillian Whyte failed a drug test 10 days ago.

    Let’s get moving UKAD!

A legitimate testing organization draws the specimen from the athlete and immediately splits the specimen into A and B samples. The B sample is only tested if the A sample has been found to have a prohibitive substance. So the B sample should have already been tested. The fact that nobody was supposed to know about the failed A sample suggests that the B sample was never tested or was taken from a different specimen at a different time.

Let's hope that's not the case, that the original B sample has not been compromised and that the truth sees the light of day!

As I understand procedures, the B sample is not automatically tested. The athlete who popped positive has to appeal for it to be tested and this is generally done if their is a chain-of-custilody dispute.

Whyte instead opted for a hearing with UKAD to plead his case. Which apparently is part of how shady UKAD operates — behind-closed-door star chamber so no one was supposed to have ever found out.

My belief is Eddie probably brought a thick manilla envelope stuffed with cash and said ‘these papers should explain everything to your satisfaction’ and they rendered their ‘verdict.’

Whyte not asking for the B sample to be tested tells me he doesn’t dispute that he had anabolic steroids in his system. Nor has he or Eddie denied it.

                A very f@#king long time...

Apparently they are kept at a specific temperature and location at a place in Patagonia.

Even then, they should have arrived and been tested by now.

Reckon they do this **** on purpose just so y'all will talk about it. No one really gives a **** about Dillian Whyte's actual fights, but, the **** around his fights omg. How long ago was it the forum was lit up explaining the WBC Silver title does not guarantee mandatory it guarantees rank? No who he beat or how, but what his shiney trinket meant. Again, no one seems to give a **** that he beat Rivas....poorly. Just that he's a dirty *****. This is how Eddie keeps Dillian's name in the news.

24-48 hours. Hearn & Whyte found out 72 hrs prior to the fight. They choose to go thru a hearing rather than have the B sample tested. Whyte has to request the B sample be tested.
