Pacquiao is on fire right now! I thought Loma should have taken the fight after Pac KO'd Matthysse! The fight would be even bigger now that Pac has beaten Broner and Thurman! I don't know if Pac would still be willing to drop to 140lbs., but if he is, the reward is definitely worth the risk!Comment

Hagler beat Hall of Fame and Hall of Fame caliber fighters. That is what makes him an ATG. How did Pacquiao get by without the height reach and broad shoulders of Mayweather?
I laid out who he could potentially fight at 140 in a previous post. In addition to the champions at 140 there are some younger guys at 135 that will surely be moving up to 140 like Lopez and Haney.
Pac is a special just like Lomachenko. Guy is wide and has huge legs. His style let's him generate power and his stamina allowed him to be relentless. Literally Pac is an exception to the rule. You're welcome to challenge that opinion by providing a huge list of fighters who were considerably shorter and who are considered ATGs.
Styles makes fights but styles also define how far a fighter can go. If one was to rely on his power at lower weights he will need to adapt to make it higher. There are ceilings. That's why Pac would be dumb to fight at 154 as he is already fighting one class above his natural class 140. Same with Lomachenko fighting at 135, one class above his natural weight 130.
Style also defines how long a fighter lasts. If a guy gets into wars every fight he will have a short career. If a style uses too much stamina itll leave the boxer hanging in later years.Comment

Ja waren du Schmock, the only one who came to fight was salido and you know how well he did against him lol..all the others quit or weren't just interest in fighting like walters for example. Uncle bob paying everyone to make loma look good lolComment
-
not at all, like i said before...how can you call his opponents worthy when they all quit..walters had no interest in fighting..came for a big payday and that was it..we never seen him afterwards..maybe bob arum gave him a good pay to throw the fight. Against salido his "magical" boxing abilities didn't work. So far not one proper champ on his resume.Comment

Loma fan boys are like golovkin fan boys..blinded by the sh** he does but no one looks at real facts...once a canelo came there was no more "big drama show"Comment

I see i upset lot's of these bandwagon fan boys, i didnt wanna reply to everyone because you're all like teen girls in love with their favorite pop artist, the same hype was around golovkin, who couldn't do his "drama show" once he had a stable opponent in front of him. Tyson fury is what you call a champion, fighting the best and getting up when he was hurt, can we say that about loma's opponents? One quits, the other one has no interest in fighting..the other guy couldnt get up after a body shot..yea we can see how great those "champs" are.Give me a break with that fan boy bull***Comment

So what you're suggesting is that someone can dominate every opponenrt in every weight class in their divisions in their career and win championships at all those levels, even become undisputed in in one but lack what it takes to be an ATG eh?

When it comes to ATG status who you dominate matters. Greatness must be demonstrated not simply projected.Comment

I see that you continue to ignore the all-time greats defeated Hall of Fame level Fighters or moved up multiple divisions and dominated bigger men. Loma has yet to do either and I would like to see him attempt it.

I'm not ignoring ****. You are.
If you cant do that your point is completely irrelevant. You're just talking **** at this point.
Lomachenko is a 3 division world champion who started boxing professionally at 25 when he was already near his full size. 3 divisions in 6 years? Fighting in a division where he is already the smaller man too? Lomachneko has plans to go back to 130 if he becomes undisputed at 135. That's proof enough hes fight above his weight limit. Guy looks healthy and not drained at all during weigh ins.
Lomachenko has beat how many world champions and won how many titles? Hes not an ATG yet but if he continues why not? IF he becomes undisputed you have no argument. Tell me how many undisputed champions do we have in the entire boxing history? IF he returns to 130 and continues to win why not?
And again. You say you need to be a multi division champ. Lomachenko is a 3 division world champ. That's not good enough eh? Guess LHW, cruisers, and HWs came be all time greats too. LHWs going to HW max out at 3 time world champs, cruises 2 times, HW is just one time.
Tell me again how your argument makes sense?Comment
