vs. Forrest: Forrest (circa 2002) would look to maintain distance with his jab while Pacquiao (let's say circa 2008 at 147) would dart in and out to close distance. I think Manny would struggle initially before overwhelming Vernon down the stretch with volume to win a competitive UD in the 116-112 range

vs. Mayorga (let's say 2003). Pacquiao would land his straight left consistently while Mayorga responds with over-the-top displays of machismo. Manny would score a late-stoppage because Mayorga was the guy that top fighters faced when they needed to rebuild their confidence (De La Hoya, Trinidad, Mosley).

vs. Duran. At 147 this is a closer fight than it would be at 135, however I would go with Duran to win an absolute war, especially the version that defeated Sugar Ray Leonard of all people.

vs. Sweet Pea Whitaker. I imagine this fight being incredibly hard to score as Pacquiao chases and Sweet Pea pokes and prods with his jab while avoiding the incoming. Ultimately it would depend on the judges preference but I could see a 115-113, split decision either way

vs. Hearns. As great as Pacquiao is and was, this is not a fair fight at 147. Too much height, reach and size for the hitman. He might take a few rounds to catch Manny's rhythm but after that he would land that big right hand for a vicious KO.

vs. JCC. At 147 I have to go with Pacquiao as Chavez wasn't as dynamic after he moved up from 140. At 135-140, we are talking about an absolute war of attrition. It might look a lot like Chavez-Taylor, with Manny scoring points while Chavez inflicts damage. With that being said I say Chavez by late stoppage at 135-140 while Manny does the same at 147.

vs. Tito Trinidad. I think this fight would look a lot like Cotto-Margarito 1 with Tito as Margarito. I see Manny getting off to a blazing start until Tito's pressure begins to take a toll down the stretch. I say Tito survives an early flash knockdown (as usual) and gets off the floor to score a late stoppage.

JCC Pac beats him, BUT, i have flashes of JCC/Taylor
Felix Trinidad Pac outboxes him for most of the fight, then Trinidad comes on strong late.....Draw, maybe Tito by SD
      There you go.

Nonsense. Marquez had to get on that juice to finally get the W. Marquez was always one step behind AND his draw with Pac should have been an L.

Pac will be like a hot knife on a butter... Pac will be like a midget compared to all of them but he will be the one chasing in the ring....

            But he beats them all.
            KO/TKO.

U guys just don’t know boxing man, or you’re so in denial of Pac’s skill that you just deny everything.

PAC would be victorious over all of them. Look just at the guys god damn achievements man, acknowledge the fact his LAST REAL LOSS was to JMM 7 years ago and that was only because he didn’t want to get robbed like he did in the Bradley fight before.

Other than that, dude had been dominating boxing for the past 13 years!
            Very good post...

Green K. I agree with everything said here except the Forest fight. I think Prime Vernon would win 116-112 or stop Manny late. The man that beat Shane is a bad man

I think I agreed with you. Duran hit harder than Marquez and had a helluva of chin. Hearn size would have being too great to overcome, and was the hardest puncher out all that bunch. JCC was closer to Manny's prime size, which I think was 126-130lbs. Still he could take a punch and ditch out punisment like no other, close call for me. mayorga was not great.

Fair enough, either way it would be a great match-up. RIP Vernon Forrest

Marquez beat Pac in the 3rd fight too but didnt get the official win. That was the most clear win for Marquez outside of the KO.

And what proof u have Marquez was on the juice? Cuz i can point the same fingers at Manny!
