Claressa Shields' promoter is interested in matching his unbeaten champion with Amanda Nunes, too. Dmitriy Salita told BoxingScene.com on Wednesday that Shields' side wants that fight if UFC president Dana White was serious when he entertained the idea during an interview with TMZ Sports earlier this week. White said he isn't "opposed to" matching Nunes, the Brazilian knockout artist who has won UFC titles in two divisions, against Shields, women's boxing's undisputed middleweight champion, in a boxing match.

Who actually buys into this **** didn't people learn their lesson after McGregor-Mayweather. I'm even less interested in this but then again I don't watch women's boxing or MMA.

Shields would kill her in boxing. In MMA Shields would lose.

Nunes is not a box office draw in the least and still made 500K in her last fight. Why would she ever entertain a women’s boxing match against a larger opponent, for far less money?

No thanks. Nunes fight at 135 in an Octagon.

This MMA Vs Boxing thing is past its sell by date. There's a reason why these fight rarely come about.

No doubt about that. I think it has solid potential to be the biggest womens fight of all time & if it takes place in boxing it'd surely be the biggest boxing match involving women of all time. Laili Ali vs Frazier's daughter gots the record with 100k PPV buys. MMA gots more love for women fighting & Nunes vs Ronda & Holm vs Ronda are tied for the biggest female fights with 1.1M buys.

Statement from salita is embarrassing, he doesn't believe it but the world we live in today you make anything sound real and competitive but true sports people know the real value of this **** but that's the problem it's not aimed at them anymore it's aimed at the social media YouTube addicts that live in cyberspace..
