before that, he was relatively popular, but kinda like an Errol Spence popular... soon as he switched and started the villain stuff, the $ followed because all of a sudden, people wanted to see him get beat up... it turned out to be a dam good business decision... outside of boxing, you don't hear how people hate Floyd... he has plenty of friends and followers... he's a fighter... you know fighters have their faults.. I mean look at Oscar dressing up in drag.. lol! But again, Floyd is a fighter who has the same faults as a typical fighter imo and simply made the best business decision of his life by becoming the villain and his own promoter... now that he's made so much $$ doing so, that's where the haters come in...
