    Maxim Dadashev's Family - Go Fund Me[link]

UPDATE for 8/12/2019 - Now that this campaign has ended, I'm working with … Alec Matias needs your support for Boxing Fans, Let's Help Maxim Dadashev's Family

Maxim Dadashev never quit and ended up paying the ultimate price.

We as boxing fans should send some love to his son and wife, Warriors should never be forgotten and sure as hell shouldn't die broke.

The boxing community should come together after these tragedies and do the right thing.

Every little bit will go a long way, the minimum donation is $5.

Maxim's wife sporting the Top Rank logo.

I hope Bob Arum does the right thing and helps Dadashev's family.

I have almost zero faith in most of these scumbag promoters to do something as decent as that, but especially Arum.

I hope it can blow up and his family can get something from such tragic loss.

But yes Arum and all the big promoters and ultra rich fighters should help out too, this could happen to anyone.

That GoFundMe isn't supported by the family, just set up by a random fan. Who knows what the family wishes etc are or if they'll even accept the money. Who keeps it then, the person that set it up? I won't be supporting it.

Family is in Russia, I was also apprehensive about the gofund me but I found it on an article by Michael Woods.

Maxim Dadashev died Tuesday morning after suffering brain trauma in a July 19 bout against Subriel Matias, at MGM National Harbor in Oxon Hill, Maryland.

He's pretty well known boxing writer who writes for this site.

The creator has reached out to Dadashev's manager about getting the funds to family.

Hopefully we can get a confirmation from the Manager or Top Rank tomorrow, I understand if it seems sketchy but I haven't found any other alternatives to help his family.

If they can confirm that the money will indeed go to his family then I'll be happy to donate. Kinda sketchy to me being created by a fan

The problem with gofundme is they take 10% of all proceeds which means if someone donates $10,000, they get to keep $1,000 for just running a damn web site selling nothing at all. They took in something like $26,000 for themselves from one donation not long ago. Greedy bastards!
