i really liked baldomirs style. He picked apart and dominated arturo gatti. I would love to see him fight margarito next, and i think he would win this fight. i thought gatti would win a close decision this time, and i didnt think there was a chance in hell that gatti would get knocked out.

But it did happen, mostly because i dont think Gatti is half what he used to be heart and skill wise, but also because baldy is a very strong fighter. He never got hurt during that fight, despite being smashed with some of gatti's famous left hooks.

A 35, it may be to late for baldy to really make his mark in the sport, but he seemed very strong and well conditioned tonight, so i dont doubt his ability to fight with this sort of intensity for upwards of 2 years. I would NOT be surprised. this is a very tough guy.

I seriously doubt his ability to beat a mayweather, he is far to slow, but a hatton or even a cotto would be a great fight for him if he doesnt want to fight margarito (which he seems to have zero interest in doing)

I would love to see a hatton fight. that would be a WAR!!!!!!!!!

But most importantly, i think this fight shows u how hard it can be to jump up to welterweight.
hatton struggled, and now gatti struggles even worse!!!

And how depressing was that fight? seeing arturo gatti get knocked out. i'm still pretty shooken up. i wouldnt care so much if he lost a decision, but damn!

Certainly he has no power but the accumulation of solid punches took it's toll on Gatti.

when baldy is in an exciting fight, its because he charges forward and can take a shot beautifully. I do think it was the passing of the torch, but i doubt baldy will ever be in AS exciting of a fight as gattis fights with ruelas, rodriguez, ward 1-3, or even his robinson fights.

I will like to see him against Zab, PBF, Hatton, Cotto, Castillo or Margerito.

I think all of these fights will be fun to see, I think he needs to beat Zab again, because alot of Zab fans complain that Zab was not himself that night.
