Comments Thread For: Efe Ajagba Says Jab Was The Key in Beating Demirezen

This past Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Efe Ajagba (11-0, 9 KOs) scored a unanimous decision over Ali Eren Demirezen (11-1, 10 KOs) in a 10-round battle of undefeated heavyweights. It was the first time that two unbeaten fighters from the 2016 Olympics faced off as pros.

Smart move by Ajagba. You injure your arm, switch to plan B and outbox him.

An Ajagba with two fully healthy arms is a dangerous man for anyone.

Fox team were impressed that Bald Bull was giving Ajagba that work! Bald Bull had nice followup jabs.. and straight rights.. Made Ajagba look one dimentional. It's not like Ajagba looked like Price beating Allen.

Ajagba is a MONSTER! That was the type of fight he needed! I was impressed with his boxing ability! He's still raw, but he should be ready in 2020! I would like to see him fight Dominic Breazeale in his next fight! I hope the elbow doesn't require any surgeries! WAR EFE!!!

            Slow plodding and stiff bum.

This bum is going to get KO'd soon, as soon as he steps up.

He's like 37 now and only going to get slower.

To me, Ajagba looks like a KO waiting to happen if he steps up anytime soon.

Efe did not look impressive,, his Jab was a pitty pat and had no authority. He did what he had to do but he is definitely no Deontay Wilder

Nobody giving Demirezen credit. The guy too was an olympian. Nobody here had heard of him except myself & a few others. I have followed both their careers & have 9 of Demirezen’s fights & 8 of Ajagba. I am familiar with both & told a few people this was no gimme & i was impressed that 2 prospects from the 2016 olympics would fight each other so early in their careers. It’s a shame reading all these people calling Ajagba a bum or a KO waiting to happen. They both took big shots. Both these guys are legit looking prospects. Demirezen proved that Ajagba may not have as much power as everyone thinks. He was knocking over low level opposition. Demirezen beat a couple of name journeymen before this bout. This fight was a big step up in class for both.
