I love Manny Pacquiao. Exceptional Fighter, former knockout artist...But dude....Floyd is simply on another level in so many facets. There's no denying that they are both all time greats. Its simply that Floyd is above Pac in the ranking.
Floyd looked like garbage against McGregor because he wanted to....Pacquiao looked like garbage against Jeff Horn because he couldn't adapt. There's a difference. And for the record, Pacquiao won that fight against Horn...He just looked horrible along the way.
Pac also looked like crap the last 4-5 rounds of the Thurman fight, but he still won it
Mayweather>Pacquiao, for all the reasons the author listed, and beyond.Comment

There is barely any separation when you look at the level of opposition the two faced throughout their careers. What tilts it for me is Mayweather's dominance in the ring, his in ring adjustments, a wider arsenal and that stuff sticks out.Comment

am sorry but he's stating facts i guess you like the reporters that svck mannys dyck then.
wow i didn't even know that but to be fair if he is back on that ariza shake i would of expected his ko power to miraculously returned again and got thurman out of there.
or like bringing delahoya down to 147 a weight he never fought in years (vs mayweather 154) or cotto at 145 (i remember roach specifically stressing on draining him) vs mayweather 154.
but go ahead with your selective memory
Oscar CHOSE to fight Floyd at 154. Again, Oscar was the A-side. Do you not think Floyd wudda preferred to fight Oscar at 147? Of course he wud, but he didn't have a choice.
As for cotto, cotto weighed 146 in the fight before pacquiao, and the weight didn't seem to bother him too much in the fight. He gave Manny all he could handle.Comment

This myth that Floyd wiped the floor with Manny and schooled him has got to stop. Did Floyd win, yes, but he won by the most cautious boring way possible. He won the way the Olympic amateur system used to score wins. He won by being extremely defensive and doing as little as possible. He knew he would get a hometown win based on his defense alone. The fight was a snoozer and neither Manny or Floyd should be bragging about their performances in that fight. If anything the fans and the press should ignore it since both fighters under-performed in the biggest fight since Oscar/Trinidad.Comment

Amazing to me, that those supposedly knowledgeable about the Sweet Science's history doesn't know the truth behind the 8-division world champion claim.
Nonetheless, Pac is an all-time great and one of the greatest welterweights to ever lace upComment

Fact of the matter, Floyd fought the fight he always fights. Patient, methodical, and calculated....Make him miss, make him pay...Pacquiao on the other hand was relegated to a low punch output/low connection percentage.... The onus was on Pac to be aggressive and take May out of his comfort zone. People will point to Mayweather saying "I owe, for the pacquiao fight," taking it completely out of context. He merely was stating his reason for letting the McGregor fight go 10 rounds...Gave the fans what they wanted to see.

Only trump people think pac can compete....Lets compare FACTS....they were in the same time......well who won? ...well they didnt fight in their prime...why? Pac didnt want a drug test.......WHO'S FAULT IS THAT....Pac turned down a drug test.....Manny didnt get two rounds off of Mayweather.....if that many.......floyd made more money (this is "Prize fighting") only the ENEMY THINKS THIS WAY. THEY CANT BE TRUSTED. Only trying to discredit TBE thats what they do. Pac won ONLY 2 rounds (if that) DEFENSE IS PART OF BOXING THOSE THAT CANT DO IT ARE DEFICIENT hence THEY have to TALK DOWN ABOUT IT BECAUSE THEY CANT DO ITComment
