It's because of the first round knockdown. Created alot of late minute buys.

Even Ellerbe stated Damian Lillard was calling him from France asking him how to watch the fight.
So people actually buy PPV’s after the main event starts? Never even thought of that. If I’m buying the fight I’m watching the whole card.
I kind of doubt it did that many buys.
Not many people I know that usually watch boxing or MMA we’re talking about this.
I didn’t see a lot of promotion for it but I don’t tune into FOX much anymore. If it did good numbers than great but I’ll wait for an official announcement.
I would think if it did 700k we would have heard something from FOX/PBC by now.

The views on youtube relating to Pacman vs Thurman were more than double the views on Pac vs Broner.

Pac vs Broner did more than 400K buys.

Lol, so 700 or 800k eh?

Some of you guys are about to be very disappointed.

Once again, the target should be between 400-500k buys.

Hope so. It was a Good fight . Solid undercard . But those numbers do seem a little high .

The bar I watched it at wasn't nearly as full as it was for the Canelo / Jacobs or Mikey / Spence fights ( if that's any sort of indicator ).

Clicking on a YouTube link vs paying $80 for a fight are to very different things. I don’t see much correlation between the 2.

Very good numbers. Healthy. It's time: Pacquiao vs Canelo. 154lbs.

It helps out with word of mouth about the fight. Someone sees a promo about the fight and then shares that link with 10 people and then they share it and talk about it etc etc
