dude is fragile mentally. one tough fight and wants to pack it in. The sign of a great fighter is they seek out the tough fights!

He's young, and doesn't seem to be emotionally mature.
The great thing about being young is the possibility to grow. I think he needs some better people around him, giving him more stable advice. I think it will be a bit of work to make sure his head stays screwed on right.
Hopefully he can push through and become better for the experience.Comment

ESPN post commentary grilled him. Both Ward, Bradley and the other guy said he can’t go in there like that against Commey and something about being exposed. network team players saying this about him probably hit his pride hard. Could be he got bad news from Arum about any new fights here forward...Comment

Lopez has ridiculous power despite not testing it against any game opponent except for one who was unfazed by it... okay. Commey KOs almost anybody in the division, Lopez is a hype job.Comment

He's the mandatory to Commey and on the same network as him. Commey has said he wants it, Teo hasn't ever seemed too keen on Richard. If you know how Teo is in sparring, he regularly gets chinned with light gloves on against inexperienced fighters. I think he may be afraid of what could happen and doesn't fancy himself so much anymore but I've been hearing that fight will be sorted for October. Even if he gets past Commey there waits Loma...Comment

Perhaps but it'd be rude if he were referring to him cryptically for attention while in critical condition. He's certainly not below that, now that Maxim is dead he must really question the game he's in.Comment

Too late, Haney-Abdullaev is for the WBC mandatory now. Teo decided not to do the tournament (Javier Fortuna would've been his first opponent) and take the Nakatani fight to become IBF mandatory. He really has left himself with very little leeway except to fight Commey and Loma, move up or retire.Comment

he should just move up and face nobodies at 140 like he’s done at 135Comment
