When active and in shape, he is still definitely a top 5 WW imo. I'd say take 1 tune-up fight, then shoot for the guys at the top again. I like the idea of Thurman vs Berto in Florida, followed by a rematch with Garcia or Porter (preferably Porter for me as I didn't have the Garcia fight close at all)
Where does Thurman go next?

I’d still rank him top 5 solely based off last night, he still starts as a favourite against anyone outside the top 3 IMO.When active and in shape, he is still definitely a top 5 WW imo. I have a feeling they could recycle Berto for him. If/when Porter loses to Spence, the rematch makes perfect sense IMO, the first one was a great fight.Comment

I actually thought he lost some desire following the Porter fight, as he became a lot more safety first and it seemed he didn’t want to have to go to the well again.
I thought he showed a lot of heart and desire last night though. Only time will tell I guess...Comment

Thurman vs. Broner could be a nice sell fight, both have tremendous motor mouth and both have something to say about their performance against Pacquiao. They have a little beef going on. This is a good WWE ****t.
Having said that, Broner is now heading towards the right path, which is 140-lb division which is good for him, he now can assert his skill very well and not be bothered too much with the incoming heavy missiles on his way.Comment

Thurman proved he was tough especially after the body shot. He came back in the 2nd half of the fight. He should be proud of his performance. He'll be a better fighter because of this fight. He actually was able to figure Manny out and land some good shots. Have a tune up then fight Spence after Spence wins his next fight.Comment
