Great win last night for Manny, so proud for him

The guy has given his life to the sport, taken the good with the bad and remains positive....I just can't stand the trolls/young fans who cant just give this guy his credit and just leave it at that... Manny proved hardwork beats youth...These young boxers dont seem to have that drive anymore and its good to have a guy still around to smack them around.

    Yeah yeah yeah...

When Thurman made headlines that he didn’t care if PAC was juicing and then we found out there would be testing last minute..

    Haymon Sports Celebration.

    Thurman is a sellout

        He is an inspiration.

Makes me want to train harder and stop my petty excuses.

Fighters come from poor poverty ridden backgrounds.
        They fight to survive first.

Many fighters of today come through a sports system, they look it as a way to become rich and famous.

For them the fighting is a chore, and the prize is the money and the fame.

Pacquiao fights and trains hard because he still loves it.

He does need to call time on his career soon though.

Nobody can hold of Old father time forever.

I don't agree. I knew from the get that Thurman wasn't anything special at all. Beating the second, even 3rd tier Thurman, doesn't impress me one bit.

Someone like Danny Garcia or even Mikey would beat the shit out of the Pacman, let alone Spence. Thurman was the weakest link.

Hopefully, beating average Thurman doesn't encourage him to continue fighting.

That's how i felt watching the fight. I had concerns... he was fighting a genuine champion, a young, unbeaten power puncher. When he won i genuinely felt proud... He's the last fighter of a great WW generation. The generation I grew up watching. Thank you Manny.

Yes, when Thurman was a little better. Don't forget his struggle with semi-dead Josesito Lopez.

                Tier 1: Crawford and Spence
                Tier 2: Danny, Mikey, etc.
Tier 3: Thurman, Pacquiao, Ugas, Porter

Danny Garcia fights like a crab, and you’ve got him above porter yet he lost too porter?

Why? Because he tkos a contender in Adrian Granados?
