  • I miss Hbo production

Say what you want about the talking mics but nobody puts on a boxing broadcast quite like HBO did. Watching the fox pbc broadcast last night, wow it was bad. Horrible camera angles all night long. They didn't even know if Thurmans foot was stomped on for that knockdown. Called the body shot, a headbutt but never even showed a replay lol

The pace of the show was horrible. Felt amateurish

yeah i was not a fan of yesterday's broadcast. the ring walk was fast and why did they do the national anthem after both fighters has walked out to the ring?

Yes far superior, had much more prestige, classy and finished production.

Much more insight, better experts, everything about it was superior

Yeah HBO production always made the big fights seem special. Lewis is an ATG, but he's horrible at doing commentary, he struggles with finding the correct words and his commentary partners have to help him finish the sentence.

Yeah this was the perfect fight for HBO, we could have been treated with a teary choked up speech from lampley at the end of the broadcast. Pacquiao was HBO's sweetheart.

People jumped for joy when HBO crashed and burned and now they all wish it was back.

They messed up switching cameras and stuff several times, and Ray Mancini isn't even coherent when he talks. Andy Ruiz was looking at him like "what the **** are you even saying??"

They knew how to put on a show.

24/7 to get the hype going. It was rare that I was looking at the back of the refs shirt. I didn t have to hear guys talk boxing that couldnt even spit out a word right.
                    Yes, they are VERY missed.
