    Older, chronologically.

Have not fought as many pro rounds, not as many hard battles, not as many fights.

He did take a number of career breaks to rest and relax his body and who knows what else.

When do you think Floyd was at his very best, where that version beats other versions of himself.

Let's see, according to Boxing Rec Mayweather Jr. has had 397 professional rounds vs. Pacquiao's 486. Pac also had no amateur background where as we can assume Mayweather Jr. had around 296+ amateur rounds (84-8, 2 minutes each round). If you don't think having that many amateur rounds has an effect on your body, then you haven't trained.

IMO Mayweather Jr's legs looked old around 2010/11. The few years younger version of himself probably would have beaten the 2010+ version of himself.

Pacquiao has harder sparring sessions than amateur fights.

You rarely see big damage done in amateur fights

They fight 3-4 times a week.

Who has taken more punches in their pro career.

So the Mayweather that beat De La Hoya and & was was Floyd at his best?

Your evidence that Pacquiao has had sparring sessions...? lol

And yes, the Mayweather Jr. who didn't make De La Hoya cut down to a weight he hasn't fought in since he was a young adult had better legs, more movement, etc. than his 2010+ version.

It not evidence he did, and they are tougher than amateur bouts.

            Or are you dis*****g this?

So 34 year old Oscar who was dressing up in women's lingerie, do lines of coke and comes from a 3 year layoff only to fight Mayorga with no defense, faced Floyd at his best and only lost an SD to Floyd.

And you think Pacquiao made the Golden Boy do something in negotiations? Oscar cherry picked Pacquiao a super feather weight to fight him at welter.

I am dis*****g it. You're just saying Pacquiao did "harder" sparring sessions without any evidence at all. You have no evidence that amateurs don't take big punches. You have no evidence professional sparring is harder than amateur sparring.

Are you also assuming Mayweather Jr. did no sparring while competing in almost 100 amateur boxing matches and also did no hard sparring during his professional career?

Defeating Mayorga less than a year prior is a three year lay off?

Are you also insinuating that Pac didn't want the fight? Roach himself was confident in Pac winning that fight. A way out of his prime De la Hoya was only 3lbs. more that night.

You asked as to when Mayweather Jr. was out of his prime. And I already iterated iMo it was before the 2010/2011 version of Mayweather Jr. Mayweather Jr. had just as many if not more rounds sparring, fighting from the accumulation of both amateur and professional boxing.

Do you know how amateur boxing is scored.
Just on connects, head-guard, and KD is the same a punch landed, much more emphasis on landed the punches and not getting tagged yourself.

The power of your punches don't matter.

Do I really need to break it down for you further?

I did not say or imply Mayweather did not spar.

Either way, Pacquiao more pro fights, more training camps, more sparring.

Nope, I am saying Oscar called the shots and wanted Pacquiao, Pacquiao accepted the terms and was moving up a few weights for the fight.

This was 6 months after Oscar fought Forbes at 150lbs.

Last time I checked 2007 was before 2010/2011

Or are you saying now, the best version of Floyd was when he faced the lightweight champion of the world JMM?

They were both past it but Pac had been in more wars.

I'd say Pac was more past it but its hard to quantify. Any other fighter on that night (apart form JMM) and Pac deals with them properly.

Floyd was always gunna be a bad style match for Pac, prime or not.

Sure, go ahead and break it down for....considering I'VE COMPETED IN amateur boxing. But what do I know. I guess I was the only one actually trying to fight/box/ko my opponent. Everyone else must've been playing tag. I guess amateurs were just playing tag during their sparring sessions as well.

Hmmm...okay? Did I not say Mayweather Jr. in MY opinion was out of his prime around 2010/2011? Was Pacquiao at 30-32 years old at that time also out of his prime?
