    Manny Pacquiao is incredible man...

To what he did last night at 40 years old. Reclaiming the Welterweight throne against a young undefeated champion with legit skills. Personally, I’d still like to Pacquiao retire as he has nothing left to prove IMO, but regardless of when he retires, the legacy he’ll leave behind is absolutely incredible. The list of fighters he’s fought/beaten across multiple weight classes is unbelievable, I’m not sure we’ll ever see the like of him again. Legend...

You won't. Pacquiao had the perfect recipe of ingredients in his life for what it takes to do what he's done. Rising from nothing, aggressive style, a nation behind him, a will to win like no other.

I don't think we'll ever see another person rise in the boxing ranks with an ENTIRE COUNTRY following him from very early on and him having such crazy success early on in his career to develop the fan following. Not only do you need that but you need to have the high level skill to go with it. It's just too much to imagine another person will mimic that.

Yeah that’s what I thought, it would be deservedly perfect ending.

I really don’t like the idea of a 40/41 yr being put in there with a killer like Spence who’s huge at the weight, It’s not because I don’t think Pacquiao can no longer compete at that level because he clearly can, it’s because a fight like that would likely resort in him talking a lot of unnecessary damage IMO.

You’re right though, he’ll likely fight the winner of Spence-Porter. Pac has that old school warrior mentality, he’ll want to continue testing himself against the best.

In hundreds of years there will still be statues of Pacquiao standing in the Philippines. He'll be remembered for a long time while most people living today will be forgotten.
