Been awhile since I've posted but felt the need after last night.
What a performance. To do that at his age, in that manner, vs that opponent, after all the wars and ring wear is hard to put into context. To think he fought cotto a decade ago is mind boggling. If you're a boxing fan you can't not be a fan of this guy. You can't measure what he's done for the sport, let alone his country. A true icon, thanks for all you've done for boxing and given the fans.
As a die hard boxing and pac fan hang em up champ. There's nothing left to prove or give the fans. Ride off into the sunset with your health in check. Go serve your country. You've given boxing fans more than they deserve.
