Thurman's biggest mistake in preparation
Thurman's biggest mistake in his preparation was to look too much into the Jeff Horn-Pacquiao fight. He thought "If Horn could rough him up and make it close, so could I."
Thurman didn't realize 2 things:
1. Jeff Horn was a huge Australian farm boy with a strong frame and thick head, while Keith is a skinny dude with a fragile body and a weaker frame and skull.
2. The Horn fight took place in Australia where Horn got away with illegal elbows, headbutts, and various other tactics.
Keith should have never tried to go toe to toe with Manny. Should have stayed on the outside with his hands up and played the counter game.
