I can't understand why the fans give Spence a pass for avoiding Crawford.

We know Crawford wants the fight.
I don't think a lot of fans ARE giving him a pass.

I think a lot of us understand this other side of the street stuff is a thing despite people suggesting its not so we get this isn't a fight that'll get made til Bob honestly wants to make it which I believe he's already stated is when it does 1M or 2M ppv buys.

I also think some of us understand Spence is in a no win situation with opponent options. If he fights Porter he's avoiding all these guys. If he fights Manny he's avoiding all these guys. If he fights Bud he's avoiding all these guys. Thats just the situation you are in when most consider you the #1 guy.

And I'm not one of these weirdos who think people who hit people in the head & get hit in the head as a job don't want big fights that pay well. 99% of the guys we talk about here day in, day out got into this sport to make a living & to find out how good they are. So I don't think Bud is some unique guy cuz he's got nothing going on, but plenty of time to talk these days cuz Bob won't pay for him to get a big fight or let him cross the street to take a big fight.

Anyone confirm, deny or know the current perimeters of this PBC deal.

For sure whenever his deal is over his price just went up doe.
He has at least one more fight under PBC and might be an option for another. Forgot which podcast I was listening to but 99% sure he is with PBC for at least one more

Idk that those fights get him Floyd is the problem. I think Floyd could want this fight tomorrow & it'll be made by next week & Manny doesn't have a hand in the decision other than saying yes I'll fight a rematch or Floyd could never wanna fight again & nothing Manny does helps that along to changing. Its all about Floyd not anything Manny does in my mind.

that's the thing! i dont think the floyd rematch is ever gonna happen, but manny is still holding out hopes for it. so if pbc says spence is next then floyd. you telling me manny is gonna say no to that? like i said, the rematch is not gonna happen but pac doesnt wanna believe this so he's still trying to do whatever it takes to lure floyd out.

I think he could batter Danny/Mikey Garcia in a nice PPV then ride off into the sunset. This Thurman win would be a great way to ride off but I don't think him and his people will do it.

                Fight Spence?

Rematch Thurman if there is a rematch clause or not?

Try to talk Floyd into a rematch so they both can get sexy checks one more time?

Go fight Artem Lobov in that crazy ass bare knuckle league to redeem boxing after Paulie dropped the ball?

And respect to Manny on the W & respect to Keith on the effort.
He won't fight again this year because he has a Senate Session starting Sept. I expect him to fight the winner of Spence vs Porter mid next year.

They have to earn the shot, and they do that by fighting each other.

You know if he fights Spence, then everyone says he has to fight Crawford next.

He just beat Thurman at 40, much better than anything on Spence's or Crawford's record.

These guys need to step it up.

Bob wants it, Crawford has told Spence to his face he wants it. Spence told Crawford he will take the easy route and make just the same money.

Spence won't even say he wants to fight Crawford, Haymon and PBC pretend like Crawford does not exist.

How as a boxing fan can you support this?

Yeah I don't think there's anything in particular that Manny could possibly do to lure Floyd out. Who Manny does or doesn't fight has no bearing on Floyd's decision. The ONLY reason would be $$, and Floyd just seems to be doing well enough with his current gigs.

The question of What or Who's Next for Manny is super intriguing though. I'm pretty sure he's going to fight once more, just not sure who. Will the opponent have to hold a title ? Is Jeff Horn even on the list of options ? That's probably not his team's recommendation, but for me personally, THAT fight would most command my attention. More than Floyd, more than Spence, more than Crawford, I would be tuned into a Pacquiao vs Horn rematch. I would be rooting for redemption and the humbling of Horn...
