I disagree because I believe despite having similar careers that win over prime SRL would put him above Pacquiao and Floyd, but also I think "modern" legends are a bit underrated. Like IMO I believe Pacquiao and Floyd should be AT least within the top 12 greatest fighters of all time, but because Floyd and Pacquiao are modern fighters born in the internet era, rabid fans and haters have more access to info and communication to cherry pick Floyd and Manny apart and give more scrutiny, devaluing their careers more than it actually should be.

I could see your perspective. I think Manny has definitely been more dedicated over the years than was Duran. I think Duran had an Eistein ring IQ but he went through some slumps where he didn't care. Had he always been dedicated, he would have accomplished more. I think the Leonard rematch hurt him more than people realized. But hey. Pac had the Marquez loss and he bounced back. So no excuses! Haha. My God, though. They're both about as legendary as you can get. Hats off to both!

Duran’s era was before my time but thankfully I have Pacquio to fill that void and it’s always a pleasure to watch him perform. Both true warriors.

The Sugar Ray Leonard win is really the biggest reason why Duran should be ranked higher IMO. Although wins over Morales, Barrera, JMM are pretty close to comparable.
