This thread was made to address the people that score fights based on who landed the most punches. If you go back and read the original post that was the whole point.
If you use the 10-point must system and score round-by-round and add any other criteria on top of that then my criticism obviously doesn't pertain to you.
You point failed.
How did you score it. Wider than 115-112?
Like it or not compubox churns out than result.
Your point was to prove compubox wrong, you failed with this example.Comment

Rounds are scored individually, but just using the compubox system gets the right result round by round.

That's the entire point.
Mixing in CompuBox with any other scoring criteria in order to make it more acceptable does not change what I stated.Comment

Since you like it so much can you tell us what result CompuBox churned out for Floyd vs Pacquiao?Comment

Why do you think compubox scores the punches round by round then?
Compubox is about punch connects.
Scoring round by round is not a scoring criteriaComment

I had floyd winning 118-110 same as one judge and 1 and 2 rounds different from the other 2 judges.
I had fury over wilder, ward over kovalev 1 , and manny beating Bradley when the judges erroneously have it to Bradley.
I know how to score a fight. Even when I don’t like a fighter personally I score by the rules and that is why you scores closely correlate with the scoring of fights by professional judges.Comment
