Pac was still in his 30s when that fight was on the table, and Loma had just started out at 135 and had never fought at 140. I think a win over Manny would've still been impressive.

Linares dropped Loma, so moving up to 140 after that to fight Manny Pacquiao would've been a risk since Loma's not a big Lightweight. It doesn't matter anymore, Loma's got an uphill battle to get PPV fights since the Mikey fight isn't happening.

Crawford makes more sense for Manny than Spence. Crawford hasn't been at Welterweight that long and is on his 3rd weight class, while Spence cuts a lot of weight and will end his career at 160 or maybe even 168.

Who are the champions at 140 for PBC? Because unless he has clause in his contract that he is allowed to fight anyone that isn’t from the PBC stable I wouldn’t want him going down to 140, Mikey Garcia might be going to 140 but he has no belt there.
