    Thurman's Legacy is Gone Now

Not that I thought KT would ever be a legend but I don't see how he can now. Losing to a 40-year-old fighter who started out as a flyweight and has 70 fights under his belt, including many wars. I mean, it's Manny. He's a legend obviously but KT is prime and lost to the 40-year-old man. There's just no coming back from that imo.

This is why these young guns need to fight each other. The rewards would be huge and the damage minimal if it comes to that. if he'd lost to Spence or Crawford or Porter, no problem. But he lost to a very over-the-hill Pac. He'll never be taken that seriously again and it's his fault.

But Pac can smile really big from now on. What a legend!

Nah mang, he lost a close fight to an ALL TIME GREAT. We're here to stay, Thurman ain't going nowhere. He's still one of the best fighters in the best division in boxing. Lots of great fights to be made still.

Pacquaio may very well have been on the juice given there was no VADA but the fact is Thurman is all mouth. Dude talks a big game and gets beat by a 41 year old. That said, this isn't the same Thurman that beat Porter and Garcia

His legacy is that he can't take it to the body. Spence would fold him and even the top jr ww's like Prograis, JT, and Subriel Matias would spark him.

I mean, hey. If he comes back and beats Spence or Crawford, you know, you can always build back up. It's just a crushing blow imo. But yeah, having and L to Manny on your resume puts you in a huge pool of talent. My God. Morales, Barrera, Marquez, Margarito, Bradley, Mosley, DLH, Hatton, Matthysse, Vargas, Broner, now Thurman. Damn!

I mean the odds were super close for this fight. 40 years or not, this was seen as close to a pick-em. Thurman isn't quite the same fighter he was before the injuries, but he was always flawed. He would have been a solid underdog to both Spence and Crawford. His level is barely getting past Porter and good enough to beat someone like DSG. If he would have fought Brook around 2016-early 2017, he would have likely lost that fight as well.

This was the third fight that he caught a body shot and ran all across the ring. Come on Keith, props for staying on your feet all three times, but what the hell is that? This man can't take any body shots to save his life.

Would love to see if face off against Lipinets or Ugas next.
