Will you look at that straight from the horses mouth:

Floyd Mayweather: " I owe them for the Pacquiao fight "

@ 3:30 : You think Floyd will give you a rematch if you beat Keith Thurman?

Pac: "I don’t think so, he will get scared more!" You heard that Floyd?

Yup, Floyd was allowed to use an IV while Manny was fighting with 1 arm … VEGAS was Floyd's home town!

Sorry but you had predicted Thurman KOing Manny in that other thread!

Yeah, Floyd easily beat Pac 4 years ago, but historically Pac I think is the greater fighter.

He started out at 108lbs and is beating undefeated champions 10 years younger than him at 40 years old

That might be a bigger accomplishment than George Foreman beating Michael Moorer.

Floyd was more business smart, but I think Manny's in ring resume is better because he took more risks.

the ONLY criteria for greatness is..... who you beat, with consideration given to when/how..... and how many losses you had

          Manny's resume is excellent !

          Floyd's resume is..... ?

                Mayweather beat Pacquiao

so, everything Manny achieved following that fight, shines on Mayweather

Canelo and Pac are making Floyd look great

                also.....

this proves that Pacquiao was still hot when Mayweather beat him

                Hagler beat Duran

but only a CRACKHEAD would rank Hagler over Duran in the history books.

                catch my drift?

Why do you guys forget that in the fight against floyd that was Pacquiao 9th division from where he started boxing yet it was only Floyd’s 4th,it was a reasonably close fight, definitely wasn’t a beat down, Floyd said it was his hardest fight, I’d love to see Floyd fight 9 divisions from where he started to see how he’d fair

Pacquiao is definitely the greater fighter. Just proved it again tonight. Stop bashing Mayweather. He is also great. Just not as great, not willing to risk all. Didn't fight as cleanly. Was too defensive. Not as entertaining. Priority was the 0.

Thurman lost his 0, but now is more respected by the boxing world.

People think of the resume wrong. It’s about what you have done, pacquiao’s resume is much much better than floyd’s. Floyd beating Pacquiao is nice but you can’t simply surpass a guy just because you beat him.
