        I predicted the Ugas would be too much for Figueroa and some people jumped on me for saying that.

        I never saw anything in Omar that indicated that he was special. He is not even the puncher that they were selling that he was. He did zero adjustments.

          He trained himself for this fight...And it showed.

            I agree. Anyone who wrote off Ugas is an idiot. The guy is on a roll lately, even with the loss to Porter, which I thought should've been a win for Ugas or a draw at best. Figueroa could go to war with a journeyman like John Molina and come out with the win, but his sloppy, misguided punches and apparent lack of a gameplan was not enough to beat a legit contender like Ugas.
            On another note, Jay Nady and Robert Byrd need to retire right now.
