Comments Thread For: Manny Pacquiao: I Don't Think Keith Thurman Will Trade With Me

LAS VEGAS Manny Pacquiao smiled wide when he was informed Keith Thurman promised to trade with him Saturday night. "That's good because I'm small," a laughing Pacquiao told a group of reporters at MGM Grand. "He's big, so it's good for him." When asked whether he believes Thurman, the Filipino icon laughed again and said, "I don't think so."

Keith seems nervous. I think he's going to use his range. All he's talking about is Manny's short arms. you don't talk about that if you aren't thinking about range.

I think Manny is gonna nail him early and make Keith re-think his gameplan , which will mean a win for Manny who will maintain his game plan. He'll probably try to stop Keith. He's been training 'real' hard...haven't seen too many boxers get it like that at 40 (none actually)
Keith been putting Pac on a pedestal in the interview he pushed dudes head in. Yea, wouldn't be the end of the world if I lost to pac, or if I took a loss, he either said one of those two.
Champions can only think of winning, and that requires enough from a man.
Pac, you think that entered his mind?

Manny HAS TO apply his power early because Keith behavior is highly affected when he gets hit. He even ran from Guerrero after getting hit hard. Judges always give the younger, bigger guy the rounds. Manny can't afford to let this fight get away from him.

I smell an upset, JMM KO is lingering in Pacquiao's mind and certainly in Thurman's plan!

Thurmos will do anything BUT trade with Pac. He'll be on his bike for however long this one lasts. I do think like others have suggested, that Pac will jolt Thurmos a few times, see what he's made of. And what he's made of is apprehension when he's tagged. That's been easily proven a few times in past fights of his. Thurmos isn't so special that Pac can't out maneuver him.

If Thurman comes with full determination, uses his height and reach properly then its easy night for him either by KO or decision. Pac cant comeback 10 yrs ago...

Thurman is an idiot. Size advantage? Keith is 5'7 Broner is 5'7 Pac is 5'6 all weigh same. Horn was 5'9. Keith is 30 Pac is 40. There is no advantage whatsoever. Fkng morons.

I feel pretty good about that call^. Manny put the fear into Keith early.
