Whyte: Wasn't A Real Knock Down, I Had My Legs Crossed When Punch Landed

Whyte said in the post fight interview that the knockdown which was called by the ref during his fight with Rivas was in fact a case of him tripping over his own crossed legs as a punch landed which caused him to fall to the canvas through a loss of balance. He said his trainer has told him to stop crossing his legs as he moves on the back foot for this reason. What do you think: legit knockdown or just a simple case of being off balance?

That explains why he looked messed up when he got up at eight then.

    Legs crossed. Gotcha.

I was happy he won but I thought it was real cheap when he said that. That's the thing about Whyte, I've rooted for him in so many of his fights but the dude is a dumb *** on the mic sometimes. He's either bytching and crying or making up stories. Wish he would STFU and just keep putting in honest work because that's the only thing he does well.

No Dill, you had your eyes crossed when it landed.
