Disgusting!!
Not only is Wilder ducking Whyte, but the WBC are helping to facilitate this ducking for over 2 years now.
This tells you one thing, most thing Whyte beats Wilder, but Wilder will generate much more money.Comment

You dont know the story behind it: Eddie Hearn initially wanted Deontay to run a gauntlet in the UK in order for Wilder to 'earn' a shot at a undefeated Joshua : Edward proposed Whyte and even had Chisora in mind ( lol ), any other champion would of felt disrespected that he had to sign with Matchroom, then fight a mini tournament.
Second point, Wilder is the champion you dont chase contenders, contenders need to put in their work and earn a shot. The 'Bronze-Bomber' has been fighting Luis Ortiz, and Tyson Fury in the last year since Whyte has been crying -- No one believes that Deontay is ducking this bum.
That's the same reason they lowballed Whyte for the Joshua fight. Joshua making his US debut against a British heavyweight would be bad - you need a UK Vs USA (or a big name in the US) fighter for it to sell in the US
Now Whyte is almost guaranteed a shot against Wilder but when he gets it he will have been no.1 contender for something like 900 days. Just ridiculous.
On your second point - Fury did nothing to deserve that fight. He was retired, came back and struggled to beat 2 bums. He was just a big name who Wilder thought would be an easy fight. I don't even know who Ortiz beat for his second chance. No-names. As for Breazeale - he did nothing too, beat some nobodies.Comment

Whyte has a much better record in 26 fights and Ortiz is 40 and about to retire
Whyte knocked down and beat AJ in their first fight, and he injured his shoulder just after he hurt AJ in their pro-fight. So he couldn't go after him. Whyte had shoulder surgery after that. AJ would have prob won anyway but AJ is a top-level fighter. He's still ranked no. 4 even now.
If Whyte didn't stand a chance Wilder would have fought him sometime in the 600 days that Whyte had been no.1 contender.Comment

He needed to build Wilder up in UK first back then - look at Parker now getting the big fights there now that people know who he is (in the UK) from the AJ and Whyte fights. Whyte was doing nothing until he made his name from fighting Joshua. Wilder is an amazing self-promoter but his fights weren't doing very big numbers especially back then. If Wilder was British - he would be absolutely massive. Got to wonder what Wilder's promoter was doing

Rivas is one of the better balanced skilled today,Fury gets away with things due to being 6'9. What you said isn't true at all, just check his am career having wins over Ruiz and Pulev.Comment

The replay showed it was a clear push after the upper cut, Ref was out of position. Also Rivas doesn't exactly carry light fists so would prove only Whtytes chin is pretty good if it was a legit knockdown.Comment

Parker was top tier only losing to AJ as did Whyte. Whyte probably loses to Joshua ,Fury and Wilder but id favor him over Ortiz maybe Povetkin if he shows up prepared,i don't think he was sharp against Rivas as weve seen him but he fought smarter. The knockdown was also a push while Whyte was against the ropes watch Rivas left glove its a shove after the uppercut.Comment

He was also on the back foot for most of the fight, a clear power advantage for Rivas. Moreover near the end of the 12th Rivas LHk KDs him into the ropes.
