Very sad news. I'm glad I didn't watch the fight, I hate seeing that.

Recovering from a brain surgery is like recovering from a TBI. We don't know yet the extent of the injury but it'll be a long healing process. The brain heals slowly from my understanding.

His career as a fighter is over, no doubt.

Hate to see this kind of thing happen. Thankfully McGirt refused to let him go back out there. Praying the Lord sends a miracle your way my brother.

Maxim Dadashev underwent surgery due to brain swelling following his 11th-round loss to Subriel Matias on Friday night.

The medical staff was horrible! Took way too long to get him out the ring, made the man walk on his own. He should have been rushed out there immediately on a gourney.
They looked like rookies in there smh. I wish the best for Dadashev.
I tip my ballcap to Buddy Mcgirt

I think Maxim started trading more when he realized McGirt's strategy wasn't going to win him rounds. He really looked sad when they told him they were stopping the fight. I saw a lot of heart from Dadashev.

When it's all said & done, I hope there's a chance he can still lead a normal life after this. Keep fighting champ

Maxim started out circling and moving. Matias was a lot of pressure from the start but later in the fight Dadashev stood in the pocket and traded with Matias a LOT.

Dadashev won 3 maybe four rounds top but around the 6th is when it really got one-sided in favor of Matias. Dude was landing thudding, crippling body blows on dadashev, who was on the backfoot. When dadashev decided to stand his ground and fight Matias he was getting rocked hard in the head. Matias just keep coming the whole fight like a mini Jarret Hurd man
