Dadashev should have been fighting at 135. He was tiny in there. I wonder what the fight night weights were. He got weight bullied but I can't accuse the other fighter of doing it since it's Dadashev that is so small for 140, not Mattias super big for 140. Or at least, it's both.

If Mattias runs into a skilled fighter like Dadashev, but someone his size, he will lose and lose wide, like the early rounds of this fight. Otherwise, yes, his size, strength, chin, power, and body punching all checked out. He's the best PR fighter right now. But this fight was a size mismatch more than anything. They need to go back to same day weigh ins because there are fighters like Dadashev getting brain trauma as a direct result of the day before weighins and guys ballooning up in weight. There must have been a 10 pound weight difference in the ring if not more, and it caused Dadashev, a good puncher "pound for pound," to not be able to dent Mattias, who progressively walked through him and beat him into surgery in the hospital. It's completely unsafe and I don't know why boxing won't fix the rules. People are getting severely hurt because of their inaction.

Unfortunate set of events but stop with the BS weight ballooning excuse. Dadashev was taller and they're probably around the same weight after rehydration.

Subriel has expressed he can actually make 135 although I doubt it but he's defitley not a big jr ww. He probably gains 12 pounds tops the next day of the fight.

        No way

Matias is a beast cardio for days, relentless and a brutal puncher.

Dashave is legit Matias is just better and will be tough to beat at 140.

If you think Subriel is big for 140, wait until you see Mario Barrios! Barrios vs. Matias will be a goodie, if it ever happens! PR vs. MEX rarely disappoints! WAR BROWNY!!!

Subriel is 3 years older, but 10 less professional fights! They're both 5'10" with 71" reach! Subriel has 14 KOs, and Barrios has 16 KOs! You can't get much more even than that! I hope we get to see it one day...in 2020!
