damm i know $10k is still more than what i make at work per paycheck but i dont know if i'll be motivated to fight for only $10k. after tax, paying off your trainer, helpers, sparring partners, etc. might be left with only a few grands.

Yeah it's not a glamorous life for some of these dudes.

Fight 5 or 6 times a year and you're only pulling 60-75k a year to train and get hit in the face.

I wouldn't put myself through that **** without a hefty signing bonus from the promotional company

you must have read it wrong. It says manny and Thurman are both guaranteed millions more. We know Manny isn’t fighting for 10 mil and neither is thurman for 2.5.

We also know to never go by commission contracts. The lower those are the less they pay in sanctioning fees. We also know Manny gets a big part of his purse paid direct to MP Promotions.

tou know that the commission purses aren’t their real purses. Especially with foreign fighters. It’s laughable for anyone to believe Thurman’s guarantee is 2.5 mil
