Dave Allen vs David Price - Have the bookies got it right?

    Betting odds with William Hill

    Dave Allen 2/5
    David Price 7-4

Price looks good odds and I fancy him to win. To me, the biggest issue of Price's losses are the fear factor he has when fighting somebody who he is scared of in someway. I don't feel like he fears Dave Allen, and Allen is not as good as anyone who has beaten Price. I fancy the gun-slinging, big truck to get the job done here. Price by KO inside 4 rounds. How do you guys see it?

Also I edge Whyte over Rivas, but Rivas at 4-1 is tempting and worth a few quid. I think Chisora takes his fight, but will have problems in it.

Allen improved skillwise especially his defense and He Always had a good chin. I dont think Price can knock him out. Price will get knocked Out because He can't Go 10 or 12 rounds. But the odds of allen by knockout are not Zoo bad as well

      Probably not.

I think Price can win because he hits hard and Allen can be easily hit but I think Allen is too tough for Price.

I think Allen’s toughness will be enough to make Price tentative and Allen will get to him

I’ve never seen a fighter that looks petrified in the right as much as Price sometimes.

Allen isn’t a great boxer but improving. I think his willingness to fight and him being as tough as nails will make him all wrong for Price.

Yes. Allen has a great chin and Price fades hard after about 5 rounds. If Allen gets past that 15-18 minute mark his chances of winning go up exponentially. I think Price will be ahead on points when Allen knocks him out.

if you want to bet price, you may as well bet Price inside 1-3 @ 6/1.. because there is literally no other way he can win. there are 3 guarantees in life, death, taxes and Pricey gassed and staggering around like a drunk outside a kebab shop by round 4.

Would love to see Pricey get that big W he's been looking for, but I'm having trouble seeing it in this one. He's got to land the big right hand early, it's his only shot. I will say, it does look like they've basically got Allen/Povetkin ready to roll, so perhaps Pricey is being overlooked

Price can't land a punch, his power is irrelevant.
