Comments Thread For: Pacquiao: Thurman is a Challenge - But a Fight I Know I'll Win

Before a recent workout at the Wild Card Gym, Manny Pacquiao boldly predicted a knockout victory when he gets in the ring with unbeaten welterweight champion Keith Thurman on Saturday night in Las Vegas. The Filipino great has never been a big boaster, and he has only knocked out one of his last 15 opponents over the past decade - a shocking statistic for those who still think of Pacquiao as the world-beating force in his rampaging prime.

Pac never talked like this before, he’s usually very humble. It looks like he got his killer instinct back. Thurman must have awaken the beast from the east. I could smell blood!

does pac ever truly trash talk an opponent? he's ok with putting his hands on his opponents in the ring and punishing them!

Don’t be fooled by Thurms KO talk. Look at interviews he stresses lateral movement his boxing IQ once buzzed he will move all night box off back foot hope for counter bomb while pac lunges in.

I’m not sure how Keith will pull this one off, Manny looks meaner and better now than he was 10 years ago, in my opinion. PAC got knocked out cold by JM years ago and look where he is at now, that says a lot about a warrior. Good luck to both!

Ok dude. I will single out this quote so that that we understand perfectly well. Now let me ask you this - where is underestimating and where is disrespecting from this statement?
