Well it is a reason why Spence Jr is the one being pushed for the Canelo fight and not the other fighters who fans think are bigger STARS than Spence Jr

Canelo vs Spence Jr is a Mega Fight not Canelo vs those other fighters!

At least buddy is coming with info lol. So some respect given

      Some tards come blind.

      Spence will be alright tho

But saying Mikey didn’t contribute is ludacris 😆
Without Mikey that fight would of been regular Fox at Dallas downtown.
Mikey - Spence got paid the same that’s what’s funny with this thread argument lol

You really are an idiot! I know over ten friends and family members including myself in numerous U.S States that bought the Garcia-Spence fight cause Mikey was fighting.
And none of us are planning on buying the Spence-Porter fight cause that fight Don't belong on ppv.
So you don't know shet about boxing and your fuccing ******! 😆✌️🖕
You have shown no proof that Mikey was the reason it got 360k PPV buys. I gave proof that Errol Spence was the big attraction. Errol was the reason for PPV buys.

        1. Errol Spence has better TV viewership numbers, average and peak

        2. Errol Spence sells more tickets, larger crowds at his events

        3. Errol Spence has more fans overall, more followers than Mikey on Twitter and Instagram

        4. The name “Errol Spence” is more searched than “Mikey Garcia”

Your counter argument was “I know ten people who bought the PPV because of Mikey”. Well there’s no way to confirm that, you could be lying.

Who brings in the Mexican audience is the PPV star unless you are already a household name or both fighters are well known. Gatti was known for his wars and Floyd for his talent. Every other PPV had Mexican influence mostly. Spence is NOT a celebrity or interesting. He's just a great fighter with no appeal. Hagler DLH Leonard appealed to mainstream. Errol Spence is unknown to mainstream therefore not a PPV draw. Might be if he cleans out the division decisively.

The "mexican audience" is nothing but a myth. Pacquiao and Broner aren't mexican, they achieved 400k PPV buys. Wilder and Fury aren't mexican, they achieved 325k PPV buys.

The biggest PPV's in boxing history has no mexicans, Floyd and Connor with 4.3 million buys and then Floyd and Pacquiao with 4.6 million buys.

If the "mexican audience" is such a big factor, why wasn't Santa Cruz vs Mares on PPV? Why wasn't Berchelt vs Vargas on PPV? Why wasn't Ramirez vs Orozco on PPV? Exactly, because Mexicans and their presence in boxing is a LIE.

Swap Mikey with Danny Garcia and that PPV would've done under 100k.
