That general gameplan (movement and picking spots) isn't bad, but he's going to have to counter more, be more varied with his punches, and throw more combinations when Manny steps back. Thurman said after the fight "we all know Danny, Danny doesn't throw punches." Talking about how surprised he was that they would both stand there looking at each other and nothing would happen since Danny was so desperate to throw second. Manny is the opposite. Manny feints and leads and even in his old age has a much higher output than Danny.

He's been trying so hard (way too hard) on the promotion of this fight to the point where he sounds corny, maybe because it's his first PPV or maybe because Manny is a quiet guy, but he stepped in it with this comment. Hah. Needs to go back to saying he is going to KO Manny.
