Side note..Cormier is actually really impressive...great wrestler and wins in that way...and then also KOed Stipe with punches in the first round, who can box/took Ngannou's best shots for five rounds and was in there taking punches from some other really big, good punchers.

Depends on if Cornier recognizes Ruiz. If he realizes that Ruiz holds 3 heavyweight belts in boxing, he likely won't care about skinning his knees on concrete and outwrestles him. More than likely though, Cormier doesn't know who Ruiz is so he likely thinks he can punch him out. All in all, it ends badly for Cormier.
