Question for Canelo fans?

evidently they don't, or chose not to flex it. not really sure what they're up to tho, cuz in the interest of attracting subscribers, it should have been important to them for canelo to fight the most marketable fight on that sept date.

My only guess is that they can tell Canelo which fights they will accept...but Canelo doesn't have to take them and can sit out...idk though it is a strange marriage...hard to know what the real deal is between DAZN Canelo and GGG.

The guaranteed money isn’t ideal imo...it offers no incentive to fighters, especially if dazn is unable or unwilling to force their hand.

I know...I really assumed when he and GGG both signed that they would have some ability to force that fight...but maybe Canelo's deal heavily favored Canelo because they needed a big splash at the beginning.

Maybe they have a deal where they can give him 3 options or something every fight and Canelo has to choose? Idk...but yeah if the money is guaranteed then it does take away any leverage to force a fighter to really fight who the fans want.

NOPE! I told you to Freeze Frame it. You probably did and decided to not do it... casuals don't know that piercing jabs rip through a guard. This happens a lot in boxing, and ironically it's what makes GGG successful in jab attempts against many. And again, when there's vaseline on gloves in fights only casuals think the friction is the same if there werent...

We agree more or less about punch count videos...when someone has an agenda they can make it look however they want usually.

But yeah 23-24 seconds in, the power punch Canelo throws lands on the gloves and is counted...good example of being scoring how they want/seeing what they want.

Edit - it may have gotten through actually...have to slow it down to .25 speed to even try and see...but yeah you just gotta score it live and go with what ya see
