    Robeisy Ramirez, one of the greatest Cuban amateur boxers ever, has a date for his long-awaited professional debut. The two-time Olympic gold medalist will take on an opponent to be named in a featherweight contest Saturday, Aug. 10 at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia on the undercard of Carl Frampton's featherweight battle against Emmanuel Dominguez.

      real excited bout this, hopefully he transitions well, i really hope they dont try to rush him tho, he got age on his side so there no need to rush, especially since hes cuban hes gonna need some experience to get accustomed to the pro game, id say like 10+ fights then go for the world title, would love to see Ramirez punk Stevenson again down the line, he had dat boy crying for his mama @ the olympics lel

          I'm pumped to see him in the pro ranks as well. Super talent and I just hope his skill set transfers to the pro game.

                  Bob is a master at guiding Olympic level prospects, I imagine they’ll move him at a similar speed to Gvodzyk or Lopez, around 10 learning fights then start looking for titles.
