Never saw Plant fight before until he won the belt. Plant did a calm poised clinical breakdown of Uzcateugi. At times Uzcateugi looked like a discombobulated Tito Trinidad getting unexpectedly & clinically tagged by Bernard and/or Roy. Lee is your classic confident fast past brawler that has yet to take on a "boxer" that takes pride in becoming a boxer. Thanks to the GREAT Al Hayman for making this fight free & available for those who don't got the cash to spare......

Yeah he gassed hard in those late rounds. Clearly he had no plans of doing anything but leaving it all on the line. Which is why he had an 8 point lead on the champ after 6 rounds.

He did come out very fast, set the tone right away and maintained it for a long time, so maybe he mismanaged his energy...it just wasn't the first time where I've felt he had a dropoff during that phase of the fight. Most of the time he's ahead and he can try to showboat and coast, but the drop offs were too much for better competition. Always liked Plant, I think he can do it better than he did with Uzi
