Ahhh yes the ever dangerous 41 yo Klitschko who had been inactive for a year and a half and was coming off a loss to Fury in which Klitschko landed 52 punches in a 12 round championship fight.
Ya that KlitschkoComment

Styles make fights ... fury will outbox anyone
Klitschko is still a risky fight for a 19 fight heavyweight prospect
To put it into context wilder fought audley Harrison in his 27th fight
That’s protected !!Comment

It's Harold Sconiers and yes Wilder has been hurt on more than a few occasions. In the amateurs an experienced Russian Evgeny Romanov beat him up and dropped him. There have been reports of him getting dropped in sparring as well. With that being said Wilder seems to recover well after being stunned. Is his chin the greatest? It's been good enough so far. What makes Wilder's fights exciting are his weaknesses as well as his strengths. When he gets a guy hurt he always goes in for the finish. Will he be a guy who retires undefeated? Most likely not but right now he is a champ who stays active and always entertains!Comment

Why doesn't he fight Whyte then? Easy win over the 4th or 5th ranked fighter in the world
I don't buy it. Wilder has huge power but he's been KO'd before in the amateurs. He never takes fights against good boxers who are also big punchers
Wilder would beat Fury in rematch. He knows what to do now he's had 12 rounds experience against him. Wilder is very fast. No way will he not catch Fury at some point.
But Fury won’t be 50% fit next time. Wilder couldn’t beat Fury coming off a 3 year drug binge, so it’s going to be even more difficult.
Also they said the first time that Wilder just needs to catch him and he did, Fury got up and took the fight to him.
Fury is a different animal to anything Wilder has fought and will be even better next time.Comment

Protected, dodging, running, avoiding are all buzzwords now used by the latest generation to describe any fight that does not take place. Any HW of any skill level in the PROFESSIONAL ranks can KO any other HW in the division. However when you are a 41 yo HW your chances are far less to KO a much younger opponent, let alone win. Unless that’l boxer has a weak chin.
It’s easy to rank a division when that division is weak. It creates arbitrary rankings that leads one in the top 10 to fight the other boxer in the top 10 then immediately demand a chance at the world titlist.
Forget the fact you also have corrupt sanctioning organizations propping up the same fighters to keep the money flowing knowing it’s a weak division. This further keeps the fans arguing when fights don’t get made just to keep interest in a dying division. AJ isn’t dodging, Wilder isn’t dodging, Fury isn’t dodging just because less skilled fighters yap about their shot blah blah. The promoters smile from ear to ear knowing the hard core fan has been captured hook line and sinker over the WWE drama show they have created. Social Media exacerbated that problemLast edited by Boxingfanatic75; 07-16-2019, 02:08 PM.Comment

Wilder is an average fighter that was blessed with next level power.
He was getting schooled until he caught Fury with that bomb and changed the fight. He got a draw despite basically killing Fury.
If Fury fights smart and avoids a big shot he cruises to a win. Whether or not he’s capable of that is another question.Comment
