All Duran would need to do is catch Jackson on the chin and timber. The Duran v. Hearns fight left you dramatized.Originally posted by dinothese guys were the most notable fighters of the 80s..but they never mentioned fighting julian jackson..i can see duran being that he started his career out @ 135 and would have been brutally ****d by *** jackson @ 154..but leonard and hearns acted like the guy didnt existComment

Hagler retired in 1987. How was he ducking a 154lber that was just stopped by Nunn in 2 rounds?
Jackson wasn't at 160 until 1990, when all of these fighters were well past their prime and semi retired.
Time doesn't match up, making this tread futile.Comment

I disagree. Jackson needed to find the right punch, that guy was about S.A.T (speed, accuracy, timing). He wasn't so much a heavy-handed hitter, Jackson. Duran was very difficult to hit cleanly because he knew how to roll, and he had smart positional sense and could quickly let out any punch at the right times just to keep a KO puncher from loading.Originally posted by ferocityAll Duran would need to do is catch Jackson on the chin and timberComment
