Floyd struggled with Castillo and should have lost that fight. Whitaker wouldn't have had the same problems with Castillo as was shown in his domination of Chavez. Yes, domination. Whitaker was better than Floyd and Floyd knows it and shows it. Just listen to him lie about dominating Whitaker when Floyd was 17. Yeah, right. Trouble with Castillo as a pro and you expect us to believe you schooled Whitaker? Get lost kid.

Chavez scored 1 power punch more than Whitaker, 182-181 power punches, while Whitaker landed 130-38 jabs to Chavez. Chavez, clearly did not win the fight to say the least, and definitely didn't dominate his opponent, as he was use too, he just got toyed with that night, and couldn't do a thing about it.

Whitaker was the true and original "Matrix" before the term came out.

Those numbers are fake. Used to build fake stats for protected fighters. Winners don’t hold and look for refs to protect them. Rumor has it, he thought he was boxing and tried to clinch the car. Rip

Great fighter and could turn you inside out when trying to hit him....was also game and willing to go to toe to toe against dangerous foes....he was lomachenko before loma existed and I could only imagine a fight between him and Duran at lightweight would have been.....what a matchup.......but it’s weird and truthfully speaking he never got the plaudits on this website much from people and that includes me but in reality he really was something special and he should of graced this website and forum a lot more that what he was and it’s a little sad that only with his death has made people sit up and praise him.....great fighter

I'd add JCC Superstar and make it a big 5.

The audacity of Mancini saying it would have been intriguing. Whitaker would've picked him apart in 1 sided fashion. Rip sweetpea

you're in the 1% of people who think Chavez beat Whitaker. And 99% of that 1% are just Mexican Chavez fans in denial. I'm going to guess that you're not Mexican from your use of the word arse which means we can scratch blind nationalistic pride as your reasoning & just label you as someone who doesn't know s*** about boxing.
