I just found this out about an hour ago. Sweet Pea and Aaron Pryor are my absolute two favorite fighters.

This is even more devastating news to me than when I heard about Pryor.

This hurts a lot.

Pernell sweet pea Whitaker. First getting into watching boxing as a teen in the early 90s, watched him fight alot. Still remember the HBO promo, Pernell Sweet pea Whitaker versus Poli Diaz. A guy last named Whitaker in his 50's I worked with at Halliburton 5 years ago claimed to be his cousin and also Forrest Whitaker's cousin
