Comments Thread For: Abel Sanchez: Canelo Would KO Kovalev With a Body Shot

Of course he would, that's why I hope this fight doesn't happen. I said it on this board a month ago, this will be the biggest illusion fight of the decade. it sounds good, and kov used to be a killer then he was exposed as weak and soft by ward. Canelo knows he will ko him to the body but kov has a name and that's why canelo wants this easy fight.

aboutfkntime Robbie Barrett
Do GGG fans realize why Gennadiy only threw jabs from a distance and never committed to attacking Canelo with body shots?
They should think about what Abel just illustrated.

No, no Abel, you don't think that at all!
You think Canelo won the second fight. I known that because I've read it here a thousand times ...

Abel Sanchez is now flip flopping saying they won fight 2 but admits that they were never able to hit Canelo flush cleanly! Someone clarify how you win a fight but never hit your oponent clearly. Because we all know Canelo was the ring general pushes ggg back all night

It's surprising how many times pro trainers are wrong about how a high profile fight plays out. In this case Sanchez is probably right. He trained Kovakev before he gave him his marching orders. As someone said Golovkin supposedley dropped him with a body shot in sparring although Golovkin glossed over it.
