You guys are rooting for Gatti for all the wrong reasons! I'm rooting for Gatti because first, I'm a fan of Gatti's and his ring heroics, and secondly, because a win tonight is gonna bring him closer to a(do a dare say) "superfight" with Ricky Hatton.

Maybe "superfight" is the wrong term, but, a Gatti-Hatton fight is definitely a possibility in the future if Gatti pulls out the "w" tonight. A Hatton-Gatti fight next year would be a great "fan" fight and I would predict, be a very exciting fight to watch.

Also, Hatton, at this point in his career, would be committing suicide if he got into the ring with Mayweather. Right now, I think that Mayweather is light-years ahead of him.

Not bothered about PBF, he'll do exactly as he pleases regardless of this result cos he's the golden child of american boxing (same as hatton, woods etc couldnt put a foot wrong here). I want gatti to win cos he's an exciting fighter and the longer he's in the upper echalons of the sport the better in my eyes. on recent form u'd go baldy to win, but i'd never bet against thunder

Regardless of the fact I like Gatti, and I'd like to see him get beat to a pulp by Ricky Hatton, I am of the opinion that Baldomir is gonna stop him.

In his last fight, Hatton looked extremely vunerable and was lucky to get the decision. If Ricky Hatton meets up with Gatti in 2007, the fight will probably be in Atlantic city with everyone in attendance rooting for Gatti. We'll see how Hatton reacts to an adverse crowd rooting against me since he has always had the crowd rooting for him.(even in Boston)

I personally feel that whereas Luiz Collazo was a nightmare style of fighter for Ricky Hatton to have his first fight at Welterweight against, I think Arturo Gatti on the otherhand is the perfect style of fighter for Hatton to make a big impression against, go back to the old tactic of absolutely pulvarizing his opponents midsection.

Can't say that about Gatti tonight or when he fought Mayweather.
