I keep my word. I would rank Manny above Floyd if he beats Spence. lmao I'm pretty sure that won't happen
It's a troll thread. Should Pac be ranked above SR R if he beats spence is what TS is asking? It's worst kept secret in the world that Pac s greater than floyd for most of Pac s career.
only when Pac got koed by jmm, there were whispers maybe Floyd has caught Pac up now and maybe doubts. But since then Pac has laid doubts to rest
Floyd beat Mosley coming off stopping margarito and took Shane's best shots and dominated his ass, cotto went on the be MW champion after fighting floyd and took the so called improved canelo the distance and Pac is still fighting beating fighters from the next generation
Floyd will never get any credit lol guy literally dominated his era with ease

You get full credit when you beat guys in their prime
Mayweather is WAY ahead of Pacquiao, no matter what the usual casuals/fanboys think
what it boils down to, are three factors.....
1) the ONLY real criteria when it comes to ATG consideration..... and this is 70% of the decision, so pretty much decides it
WHO did you beat, with consideration given to when/how
that is the ONLY question
well, there are THREE opponents on Mayweathers resume who are better wins than anybody on Pacquiao's resume
Pac already beat Thurman..... who honestly, is not that good.....
Spence/Crawford are only two fighters, not three..... and neither of them rank higher than the three BETTER wins on Mayweather's resume
so, no..... and the argument pretty much dies there
2) body of work..... which likely makes up 20% of the decision
Mayweather is currently WAY ahead of Pacquiao..... he beat like 25 champions, most of them consecutively..... and he never lost a fight
but Crawford/Spence would definitely close that gap right up
that is a tough call, but I doubt it..... and body of work would never out-shine the THREE HUGE wins on Mayweather's resume who are better than anybody on Pacquiao's resume
3) there is a small consideration given to losses..... who beat you, but more importantly, when/how
that is game over for Pacquiao, right there
no way can numerous knockout losses be forgotten or over-looked
I did not mention the 3 wins on Mayweathers resume that are better than anyone on Pac's resume
I did that intentionally
but if anyone was curious, read the post below..... now that koolkc let the cat out of the bag
It would be easy to do that and I don't know how much I would argue against it even in disagreement.
But, Manny having this success against young champions after 40 wouldnt change the fact that an old Mayweather dominated Canelo, which NO VERSION of Pacquiao would be able to beat.
It wouldn't change the fact Floyd toyed with the guy that was Pacquiao’s greatest career rival, Juan Manuel Marquez.
And, it wouldn't change the fact that Floyd easily beat Manny head to head, in fact ran a clinic on a younger version of the Pacquiao having that success.
So yeah, props to Pac if he can do it.
Yes it will move the needle.
No, it will not be enough to move him higher than Floyd.
the whole world knows Pac s arguably the greatest of all time and Floyd isn't even guaranteed to be 2nd best of era depending how far we go back id have rjj and Hopkins ahead of floyd.
.
Pac s body of work is far greater than floyds. If Kirkland laing beat sugar ray leanored as well as his win over Duran he still wouldn't be better than pac even if his 2 best wins were better than pacs.
RJJ has been koed and I've no doubt he'll go down in history as greater than unbeaten floyd/Calzaghe one of my favourite boxers
don't be ridiculous Hugh, you talk utter nonsense
anybody who thinks Pac is the #1 ATG..... is a dribbling moron, NOT a true boxing fan
your sig is daily proof of your ******ity
name one historian EVER..... who has ranked Pac top 3 ATG, let alone number 1
nothing like that ever happened, you completely made that dumb shlt up
not only has Mayweather beaten more world champions than Pacquiao..... those champions were of a higher caliber than those Pacquiao beat
you cannot change history kid
and pretending that losses do not count is just childish
you a just another pac-lunatic who blurts out nonsense whenever his name is mentioned

Many of the ATGs who shared ring with pac think he's the Goat or thereabouts. Barrera, Paul malignagi, Morales, JCC are they dribbling morons? They are all historians and know boxing better than you or you're bias lists or list does.
Pac beat more tougher champions and his resume has far more depth which you'd expect for someone who fought more and didn't cherry pick guys like berto, Guerrero, Ortiz types. Floyd's fought former champions and weak champions to get his stats so high whilst pac beats Thurman level guys. Floyd knew what he was doing he'd fight weak opponents if he knew they were champs once upon a time.
Loses don't matter if you fight outside backyard and get robbed. Yes pac has a few legit losses but your resume can make up for it. Losses never harmed srr, Ali and Hopkins who is greater than unbeaten calzaghe.
It's childish of you to make more of an unbeaten record than it is. Especially so when the object of your desire never took risks, never fought outside backyard used cws and got gift decisions and didn't give rematches to his biggest rivals. But I expect nothing more of a Floyd fanboy who's got nothing else to boast about.
