Resume isn't the greatest, but he passes the eye test.

Joshua fails the eye test as he reacts very poorly to getting punched. Plus he lost to a ****ing butterball on short notice and he might lose to him again in the rematch!

The same complaint made about virtually every Heavyweight ever. Rinse n Repeat.

If you want to say that P4P Heavyweight X, Y and Z were better, OK. But then I can ask which one of them holds a candle to Duran. Klitchko looks fine on film. I really struggle to think of anyone other than Fury who beats him.

I have to disagree, plenty of heavyweights were credited for their boxing skill—Dempsey, Tunney, Louis, Patterson, Liston, Ali, Frazier, Holmes, Holyfield, Lewis, Bose, etc. The Klitschkos had substantial size advantages over many of their opponents. Much like Jack Johnson, Harry Wills, Carnera, Foreman, et al. In fact, look at old film of Primo Carnera and you will see many parallels in style between Wlad.

His resume wasn't great at no fault of his own, however, I don't think many would argue that a prime Vitali would be favored to win against all of the top heavyweights today.

            Fury clowns him.

Wilder, while an underdog, makes it a scary shoot-out.

Fury loses once he gets tagged on that weak chin of his. I'd give Wilder the best chance against Vitali, but still would take Vitali via late TKO.

He did not get a beat. Both of his losses were because of injuries. He was totaly dominating Byrd and he did not quit. He was injured. Boxers should not risk their health not to take ****** blame from an idiot hater. He was also beating Lewis but suffered from unlucky cut. Lewis ducked from rematch and we all know this. His resume was not the best but he never ducked from anyone. He just appeared at the weak times of hw boxing.

He would schooled todays hw boxers. He is very clever with great accuracy, strong chin , very good at reading the game and have good size . AJ or Wilder would get owned by him maybe best of Gipsy King would have a chance due to his bigger size and good jab

Credited by who? I mean, I can list off a bunch of champions, too, and claim something nebulous about them. That doesn't really prove anything.

Klitchko was a titan. He can't be expected to fight like men 30 pounds lighter. No one expects Usyk to fight like Marquez. Or Marquez to fight like Finito Lopez.

Klitchko clearly had more depth to his game and strategy than most the fighters you named. Outside Tunney which one had better use of range and angles? Which one took a better punch? Which one got stronger as the fight progressed?

Wlad was chinny and when pressed he often looked lost. We obviously have different criteria for greatness.

Wlad's bigger punch never landed on Fury. Wilder's WAY bigger punch landed twice on a rusty Fury, and the Gypsy King got up like nothing had even happened.

But somehow you know that Vitali finds him and stops him....
