Respect to DDD on the W.

Thought Gorman was more overhyped than DDD, but I did expect more from Gorman than he came with. Thought he was smarter. Definitely didn't think he was on some Fury sh^t like some people seem to be comparing him to as of late, but thought he'd come smarter all the same.

I'll be super curious to see the next few guys DDD gets put in there with. Definitely in need of a step up, but I still don't see a need to fast track him towards a belt. He's got plenty of time & can get better before jumping into the world scene. And once you are at that world level you can't put the genie back in the bottle.

But both he and Joyce are Euro level at best.
Dubois is a level above Joyce, he’d annihilate him.

As soon as Joyce fights a live heavyweight with power he’ll get sparked with the way he gets hit in fights.

It was total hype. All of Fury's camp came out and said Gorman was a slick boxer and that Dubois was a stiff robot. That seemed to be enough to make all the casuals believe it.

Respect to Gorman though. Like I said a proper fighter who gave it a go and never gave up. You don't need to win to be a real fighter

These match ups make no sense. Yoka would be a step down for Dubois and Gorman would just get beat again against Joyce.

Dubois v Joyce makes sense but I think Joyce's handlers will keep him away for a while and Dubois' people now see an opportunity to milk him.

This isn't the UFC. They are not going to put 2 prospects against each other. The loser wouldn't be profitable anymore. UFC can do it because they only care about putting the best fights, they don't care about the fighters' records and careers.

They are both going to keep slowly fighting winnable fights cherrypicked by their promoters until they reach the top and have to face another the top guy (Either Fury, Wilder or Joshua/Ruiz). That's how boxing works

Nice win, but no need to hurry now. Kid is 21, he still has a time. Wilder fought bums until he was 30 or something.

Dubois was impressive, i particularly liked his ram rod jab. He has good fundamentals and it seems like hes not too bad in the chin department. Gorman on the other hand fought scared and threw his punches like he was afraid to get hit.

Regardless, I'd now like to see Dubois against a real gate keeper like a Breazeale or Charles Martin.

Although I agree his team should take their time with him, however his talent will propel him to the top much sooner than later. I can see him fighting one of the top guys in 2 years at 23.

Yoka is a step down just for his rating. He has better boxing skills compared to Dubois imo.

And gorman could outbox Joyce, who's way slower than him (and Dubois).
