The focus is more towards Rogan. Know plenty of MMA diehard pals whom get down with boxing heavier than MMA. Joe Rogan said he was bullied as a kid and took on martial arts... the rest is history. His opinions are justify his accomplishments.

Sure, whatever. It goes both ways though, McGregor was considered some kind of striking hotshot in UFC but he showed that he couldn't punch his way out of a wet paper bag with 10 oz gloves on.

I'm not sure why anyone really cares what Joe Rogan has to say anyway, every time I see or hear some clip from him it sounds like he's stoned.

Yeah, MMA fighters who focus on Boxing an only benefit. But to think you can "box" in MMA is suicidal.

Look at Edgar vs. Mendes or Weidman vs. Silva. To me, those fights define where MMA is at, and Boxing's place in it.

I'm a former collegiate wrestler, but I'm the first to say, unless your name is Conor McGregor, Boxing and BJJ are your best bet for success in MMA, but don't get too fixated on being good at those sports, focus on their skills. If that makes sense.

I always chuckle when an mma fighter has his opponent on the floor and punching at him like a fkin girl.

I dont mind the strikers in UFC but that wrestling sht gotta go. *** jiu jitsu it’s a cowards way of fighting.

I have many times. You're talking about the round where Holm landed other classic boxing techniques like elbows, kicks, knees and a body lock takedown. If you want to hold on to the argument that she's fundementally a boxer it could also be said it didn't work for her vs Nunes.

What's cowardly about Jiu Jitsu? It's one of the few fighting styles where you can incapacitate your opponent without necessarily leaving any lasting damage to them. It's taught quite a bit now by the Military as well.

joe rogan should worry about the UFC paying their fighters peanuts compared to boxers. Dana White is Don King X1000. the ultimate crook. as far as comparing the two sports this is a dumb debate. Two different sports. Jon Jones destroys any boxer in a cage. but Jon Jones gets his eyebrows knocked off by a mediocre boxer in the ring. Who cares.
